FreelanceLaw, Inc. was founded by San Diego attorney Melody A. Kramer for the purpose of simplifying the process for law firms who are trying to locate and utilize contract attorneys and other freelance legal professionals to meet the law firm's specific project requirements.

 

FreelanceLaw connects law firms and freelancers through a confidential, web-based system with a searchable database of freelancers, send automated project requests and track project status online. 

 

For an additional cost, FreelanceLaw will hold project retainer payments in escrow until the project is completed and approved, provide dispute resolution when necessary, and make automated payments to freelancers.

 

FreelanceLaw is more efficient and cost-effective than legal temporary agencies, and the reduced costs and benefits are shared between the law firms and freelancers.
